I am opposed to abortions for they are taking the life that God has bless a couple with. But if it came down to the life of a baby vs the life of the adult, I would choose to abort the child.

I believe abortions have been a blight on our nation since the procedure first began. The fact that it has been legalized does not make it any more right. We should stop this taking of innocent lives primarily for the sake of convenience.

Our “Guidelines on Abortion” justify the killing of the innocent baby for the sins of the rapist. Punishing the children for the sins of the father is condemned in the Bible. This is an abomination in the sight of a just God. If we allow the rapist to live, we must let the baby live as well. We need to repent of this great evil before it is too late. The Lord is ready to forgive, but wee must repent and confess our sin against the giver of life. Those guidelines on abortion must be abolished!

Change the official guidelines on abortion, too. Say:
1) Abortion is a great evil.
2) We erred by portraying abortion as if it were allowed by God under any circumstances.
3) We forbid any of our hospitals or clinics to perform, support, refer, or in any way contribute to any woman having an abortion, and we will swiftly and biblically sever ties with any hospital that varies from this policy.
4) In humble repentance, we will make known the number of children aborted under our watch. We will establish at least one crisis pregnancy center near each SDA hospital that has ever performed an abortion. And we will introduce core educational materials into our academy and university curricula, our church magazines, and our Sabbath school lessons promoting the biblical case against murder generally, and abortion in particular.

So, when do you think Adventist will get as fired up about the intentional killing of boys and girls in Adventist hospitals as women's ordination? Certainly the butchering of millions of innocent people, (which blatantly violates God's 6th command) is equal with, if not infinity greater then deciding which gender will spread the gospel.
