This petition has been started in an effort to stop abortion in Seventh Day Adventist hospitals. We believe that abortion is a violation of the sixth commandment of the Decalogue which states "Thou shalt not kill" or a better rendering would be "You shall not murder." We believe that the SDA Church should set the standard of defending the unborn and therefore the leadership of the organization should make policy that would not allow for abortion in SDA hospitals.
