Stop ABC from portraying an LGBT Relationship on "Once Upon a Time"

Please do not add such a relationship to this show.

I mean, wow. Whoever created this petition clearly had none of their facts together at all.

Why would you stop watching it solely because of the LGBT portrayal? If you're truly religious, shouldn't you have never watched it in the first place? There are all sorts of sins portrayed if you have ever read the Bible.

There are so many things wrong with this petition that I can't even cover all the bases that I want to elaborate on. First off, this show portrayed many more sins from the Bible before the LGBT angle was even introduced. If you want examples, I will be sure to properly provide them with evidence from the Christian Bible itself. With that being said, in the Bible it clearly states that God views all sins as equal. This means that homosexuality in his eyes is just as bad as fornication, alcoholism, body degradation, smoking, etc. that have all been very clearly seen in the show. I will also provide examples for that if asked to. So, in conclusion to this, why are you directly targeting the LGBT portrayal? Shouldn't you be petitioning the entire show since most of it is religiously wrong in God's view? There is no way that this petition is morally valid and with that, it is highly irrelevant.

What is also amazing is where were all these "Christian family values sorts" when it was pretty clearly established that whatever the characters on this show worship, it is not ONE God. Maurice pretty clearly says in Skin Deep "My gods." So why was there no one up in arms over establishing a polytheistic religion?

This is one of the most depressing petitions I've ever seen. This is a family show, yes. And guess what? There are ALL SORTS OF FAMILIES. Gay ones, straight ones, and everything else. I find it hugely disappointed that a bunch of close-minded people are threatening to boycott over a minority group potentially getting some screen time. It's now the 21st century. You might want to join the rest of us and open your minds a little bit. All you people who have signed this should be ashamed of yourselves.

This petition makes me sick. I'm Kenyan and a Christian and I was raised in the most traditional way you can ever imagine. But even I am tired of having God's message of Love, Acceptance and tolerance hijacked by haters and bigots. Pure love is universal. And anything that puts restrictions and limitations on how others express that is just unacceptable! I love God but I reject any world view that hinges on irrationality, intolerance and denigrating others to feel superior! I am so grateful that unlike other African parents my parents didn't raise me to be prejudiced and judgemental. They always tell me, there are a lot of things I won't agree with but the world is changing and we have to accept and live in harmony with others. I'm not gay but if I was, I know I wouldn't be scared to come out or anything because I know my family would be accepting & loving no matter what. That's what family is all about. And that's what shows like The Fosters and Modern family try to teach everyday. I for one I'm so glad that ouat have decided to do the same. I'm just curious as to why whoever made this petition didn't highlight things like adultery, murder, rape, prostution, early childhood marriage also. I hate Robin Hood & Hood but their fans are always telling us, "you don't like what they're doing on the show, don't watch it" How about you follow your own advice.

This is so disappointing that people are this close-minded. They've changed and adapted multiple storylines of classic fairytales in this show. There is no 'way' that the characters are 'really supposed to be'. By the way... isn't Modern Family on ABC? Some of their main characters are gay. Just a thought. If you don't like the way the creators have decided to go with the story? Stop watching.

I love this show and I will be super sad if I have to stop watching it because of the LGBT relationships that go on when really thy don't need to in there at all.

I just want the undersigned who signed this to know that there are far more important things in life than who's gay on a TV show. These people are all pathetic and living more in a fantasy world than any of the characters on OUAT ever did.

I am a Christian myself and I am sickened by this petition as well as all of the comments. Speaking for God is as much a sin as LGBT is...and times are changing whether we like it or not. All the judging I have witnessed from Christians makes me question my faith because of all the hate I've seen. We even have churches protesting at graves of LGBT soldiers. """Oh, how dare the army let someone like that fight for my life!""" Are you telling me that you'd rather die than have a gay person die to save you???? Like Jesus did btw??? I don't understand people and this is ridiculous. It's still an amazing show and it's supposed to portray how fairytales would be in the real world nowadays....Therefore, there would be LGBT characters....so I WILL STILL WATCH AND LOVE THIS SHOW AS WELL AS NEVER SIGNING THIS PETITION!!!!

Ummmm the writers are not doing this for political correctness AT ALL!!! They're doing it because they believe in love in all forms. Also, you don't know them so they probably have loved ones who are LGBT so....you could be saying this about their sibling and that's doing nothing but hurting people....Which God is against btw....

That means, you really don't like this show then....because that's what the show is about...Sooooo??????? This makes no sense!!!!

Since when did an LGBT person commit a terrible crime??? Last I knew, most horrible mass murders and school shootings were all straight....So???? What is it that the LGBT people have done that you don't like????

In season 2, Henry brought this to attention with Frankenstein. He said that Frankenstein is not a fairytale and at some point the writers said that this show will be about all classic literature...Therefore, Camelot and Robin Hood, etc. anyone else they want to bring in will be great.

Also....there are lots of inappropriate comments and scenes in the show...It's not really that clean.

Okay, then. If you don't want children thinking about their sexuality, stop showing them romance. You want to talk about forcing sexuality on someone, all that is shown in movies and tv right now is straight relationships. I don't want to 'turn' your 6 year old gay. But that's mostly because I can't. People are born a certain way. I can't affect that and neither can you. But keeping representation from certain people is not right. Either show everything or nothing at all. It's that simple. If you don't want children to think about it, take away Emma and Hook, Regina and Robin, and Snow and Charming. Because that is influencing children just as much.
