KEEP THE A20 OPEN 2012 GROUP
Residents and Businesses of West Kingsdown united in the fight to keep our main road open and stop the proposed closure of the A20 for the week of the Paralympic Cycling Events at Brands Hatch in September 2012.
Our aim is to get the cycle races re-routed or for the making of the A20 into a dual carriageway from Scratchers Lane to the Brands Hatch entrance. We believe the proposed closure for most of the day and evenings, for 5 to 7 days will bring unfair and unnecessary hardship plus dangers to the Health of the People, Businesses and their employees during the proposed closure period. A Mileage and travel time table together with some of the anticipated provisions that will be caused are shown below.
