This system is a system that ignores the wants and needs of students, and introducing this after students have already signed up for classes is frankly ignorant.

As a Eastern Alumni who is now at Clemson University, I see no benefit in the change. At college you don't take classes year round, you take them on a semesterly or trimesterly basis. For students that want to partake in dual enrollment but also still take classes at EA, there is way too much planning to be done for a year to ensure a student is taking the classes they want/need to. This essentially is making excellent opportunities for students that want to take college classes for a free/very reduced price during highschool unattainable.
