The private jet expansion in a densely populated Hanscom neighborhood is unacceptable. It will destroy the area

With all the problems from plane emissions you would think there would be more regulations limiting the use of private jets!

There is enough noise from the planes as it is, we don't need more.

For those of us who live in close proximity to Hanscom and have had jets flying over our houses, I say no, no and no. Not to mention that this is a historic area that needs to be protected from more pollution (air and noise).

We need to preserve the last remnants of our woods and open lands, not indulge in more convenient airports.

I agree with all the comments about emissions. We’ve made great progress as a family reducing our carbon footprint while also working for systemic changes in energy policy. We take grandchildren to Great Meadows and October Farm to watch, to listen for birds and peepers, to instill a love of the natural world. Last week, as my granddaughter and I sat near a vernal pool on October Farm, across from Great Meadows, one jet after another flew over our heads. I really resented the intrusion. This proposed expansion is wrong on so many levels.

I’m a Burlington resident. We already have too many planes flying overhead. I’m concerned about increased air pollution and potential plane crashes.

I cannot believe this airport is even being considered- and so close to Walden Pond ! For Private Jets yet ?! It's a travesty!

Airports in Europe, like Schiphol in Amsterdam, are rejecting private aircraft because of their disproportionate environmental damage. We must do the same.

Gov. Healey, I voted and campaigned for you to serve the will of the people from Mass and your commitment to protect the environment. Please do what is right and renounce the expansion of private jet capacity at Hanscom. Please don't let me down and make me proud and thankful that you are the Governor.

The last thing Concord and surrounding towns need, and the last thing the climate needs, is emissions from more luxury private jets using Hanscom Field. We are supposed to be looking critically at all new infrastructure to evaluate whether it will support our sustainability goals or undermine them. We need to be thinking of our children's and grandchildren's futures and the future of all life on our beautiful planet. This means each one of us making sacrifices and putting our discretionary income into climate-preserving activities and infrastructure, not super-emitting private jets. Take the train, buy an electric vehicle and drive, ride a bike, walk.

This expansion would significantly and negatively impact our environment and personal health and safety!

Private planes produce enormous amounts of greenhouse gases and allowing them will counteract our efforts to act to limit climate change.
Stop the madness now!
To many planes already.
