Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

This Private Jet Expansion plan for Hanscom Field is flying in the face of the Climate Change crisis we face! This should not happen!

This is terrible at all levels.

This project will facilitate hundreds of thousands of tons of greenhouse gas emissions, in opposition to every Climate goal that our towns, our Commonwealth, and the nation are working arduously to achieve. The proposal to triple the private jet capacity at Hanscom field will enable tens of thousands more flights per year, with a resultant greenhouse gas emission rate cancelling out the climate benefit of about a quarter of all the solar PV installations in Massachusetts.

This is outrageous, on so many levels.

I volunteer on farmland directly across 2-A from Hanscom. The additional green house gas pollution and noise generated by more non-essential, private jet traffic is totally contrary to the health of the public and the climate. Please oppose this proposal.

This is a really bad step for our planet.

This seems like an easy decision! Private jets benefit the few at the expense of the many.

To go ahead with this expansion would be to ignore the escalating dangers of climate warming and put the privately privileged's wants before our common needs.

The noise polution is bad enough...so much exhaust over such delicate ecosystems including Sudbury and Concord River wetlands!

Do not expand the Hanscom Airport. We don’t want to encourage private jets and needless use of fuel in our area or anywhere!!

Egregious example of how the 1% trumps public interest. Only the super wealthy benefit from this while we all suffer increased noise, traffic and pollution. Who pays for the traffic details on Rte 2A?
