Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

Amen to all the points made in the letter to Gov. Healey! This is just so wrong in every way.

Please stop this project. It does no benefit for anyone except the uber wealthy and it will actively destroy the surrounding environment and encourage more airplane travel which we must reduce. Our children are begging you!

Expanding an airport for more rich people to fly their environmentally hostile private jets is absurd. No local resident wants that noise, and no tourist to Concord who travels hundreds of miles to thousands of miles wants to hear that noise. Concord is a beautiful place for many reasons. Don't destroy it with an expanded airport.

We are right on the Hanscom flight path in Bedford. It is too much already on Monday and Friday.

This expansion of the availability of landing strips to the super-rich is an example of the ways we are expediting rather than retarding the move toward a clean energy future. This plan must be stopped! Please do everything you can to prevent this travesty.

Please help to protect nature and do not expand .

Private jet travel is a luxury that we can no longer afford. Especially since most of the flights are for vacations.

Who benefits from this expansion? Not people in Concord! We don't need more CO2 in our area, with no benefit to us.

Private jets being prioritized over conservation areas is insane - flat out. 1. We're in the midst of watching environmental disasters happen in every corner of the US, expanding this facility only adds to this. 2. expanding a facility that's only purpose is to provide transportation to the wealthy while the middle-class is being pummeled by corporations is unethical. That's it - it's that simple.

More private jets at Hanscom is just subsidizing the rich at the expense of everyone else.
