An emissions /environmental nightmare to feed the ego and wallets of a few. Let’s save the planet together.

Growing up a mile away from NY’s Westchester County Airport, I saw, heard and smelled the stunning transformation of a small airport serving private prop planes into a jet terminal with constant traffic, deafening engine roar, and kerosene fumes that wafted through the woodlands surrounding our home. Hanscom is already halfway there; now is the time to say “Enough.”

Governor, please stop this project, so utterly contrary to the way we need to be moving. Uphold Massachusetts's reputation as a Green leader! Thank you.

Climate change has had a disastrous effect on weather patterns worldwide. Catering to private jets will just extend the problem and leave our world in a state of decay.

Writing this while experiencing another day of torrential rain, street flooding and warnings of a possible tornado due to global warming. We are now living with the results of climate change. Please stop this damaging expansion. Maynard, MA
