Private jets mean higher carbon emissions per passenger. We need to be going in the opposite direction.

Private aircraft are a huge polluter. At a time when many are reducing commercial air travel to limit their carbon footprint, allowing super wealthy to continue their dirty habits is just wrong.

As an Arlington resident, and co-organizer of the university #flyingless initiative (flyingless.org), I applaud your effort. I frequently cycle past Hanscom and reflect on this symbol of the climate denial of the privileged and powerful.

The expansion of Hanscom is unnecessary. It is an excessive "want" for the rich, not a "need", and negatively impacts our environment in several ways. Please think of the big picture negative impacts this will have to many, to help satisfy a few and say NO to Hanscom expansion.

We need to reduce gas and jet fuel emissions not add to them which allowing aircraft into Hanscom would promote.

We've all got to cut back on our transportation emissions. Not only do I oppose the North Airfield Development, but I limit my own air travel to one trip every two years.

Private Jets are one of the excesses that has lead to Climate Change and is irresponsible behavior. Just cause you can, doesn't mean you should. Travel with the masses may raise the comfort of air travel for all and aid in eliminating unfilled seats.

It is absolutely unconscionable to expand private jet access at Hanscom or anywhere else.
