This is a project for the rich at the expense of everyone else and mostly the environment. It will severely compromise our Minuteman National Park and has no consideration for the millions of people who visit it. It will drastically compromise the efforts of the surrounding towns to reduce their carbon footprints - it will make that impossible. It will eventually become a significant percentage of our emissions. This is a project for people who care only for their own comfort and affluent lifestyle at the expense of the future and wellbeing of the rest of us.

Seems like a pretty easy, clean win to stop this from happening. We're in the midst of a climate crisis and we need to do everything we can to push back against it.

Don’t let this happen. Too much pollution that the people making the money off of this expansion will not be responsible for. the community that lives around it always pays the consequences. So a few people make a lot of money and everybody else pays the price and their health suffers as well as environment and all the animals that live around

Private jets produce more carbon per passenger mile than any other mode of travel!

"Instead of working to reduce the number of these super-emitters, we subsidize them: private jets are exempt from sales tax; their facilities are exempt from property tax; and they provide huge tax breaks to their owners. " In addition to the laughable lack of tax revenue, the degradation of our environmental commons that we and our future generations rely on is not an acceptable cost for the convenience and excess of the few.
Already the top 1% of the world emits double the CO2 emissions of the bottom 50%. This isn't even "degrowth", this is just acknowledging through correct action that we can no longer make these trade-offs to favor the high-emissions comforts of the wealthiest individuals on the planet.

Please, no private jet expansions at any airports. Logan Airport is located in an environmental justice community. We also live in Malden, so we don’t live too far away from Logan ourselves, either.
Thank you.

Just say "no" to private jet expansion at Hanscom. Make them go through the Ted Williams Tunnel like everyone else!

A small percentage of the population have done considerable damage to our environment. It's time to say NO!

This is a critical issue as it negatively impacts human and planetary health. Expansion should not be permitted.

An alternative to expanding capacity at Hanscom Field is to raise the fees enough to discourage more private jets from using it. The increased revenue can then be spent on emission reduction projects such as improved cycling infrastructure.

This will have a much greater impact on the environment than me walking instead of driving... Let's start going after the big polluters!

I live in Concord, as do my children. This expansion would be a step backwards in all our steps to reduce CO2 emissions. Please don't let this proposal go forward.

We should not add hangars or expand infrastructure for private planes if we care about climate change. This expansion will hurt all of us, not just local residents.

On behalf of my 2 grandsons and everyone else whose lives are at stake, please cut GHG emissions in line with science-based targets.
