Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

I flew into Hanscom field for years as a jet charter pilot. As a reliever airport for Logan, BED can’t be beat. But fact is, high end aviation is incompatible with climate stability.

Please do not expand the private jet airport!!!!

Stop the Massport expansion.

Please halt this grotesque facilitation of planet-killing emissions from clueless elites.

Please don’t allow the expansion of private jets at Hanscom to go forward. It is insane to do this when we desperately need to cut fossil fuel emissions immediately if there is any chance of meeting our state’s climate goals.

All air travel is bad, but private air travel is obscene

I live in Vermont and have signed the Flight Free Pledge to not fly until the climated emergency is over. Exspanding privte jetports is the wrong direction. Banning private jets is in line with survival of theh human race. Please take action.

Massport has sustainability goals and pledges. New infrastructure for fossil fuel hungry and inequitable private Jets are incongruous with those goals. Please stop this project and protect our chances to draw down carbon emissions quickly for a livable future.

Drawdown now, so even the children of the jet set might have a future!

This is a no-brainer action in support of environmental and climate justice, and by the way, a signal that we need to be dead serious about the bottom line of GHG levels.

The emission numbers tell this story. There is NO reason why those who live near Hanscom should foot the climate bill for those who think the only way to get from one place to another is in a private jet. This is unsustainable. Period.
