I am imploring you, Governor Healey, to uphold your promise to Massachusetts and do everything in your power to reduce the threat of climate change. That includes stopping Massport's expansion plans for private jets at Hanscom Field.

Thanks for your other important work on climate change, particularly with affordable housing. But I hope you will stop this private jetport expansion. It is counter to the principles of planning a fossil fuel-free future, is not necessary, and only benefits the wealthy at the expense of the rest of us.

Everyone I know is distressed by the increasingly erratic weather and air quality that signal the advance of global warming, as well as the multiplying toxins found in the environment and even in newborns. These include components of jet fuel.

With all MA is doing in energy and environmental action to combat climate change expanding facilites for private jets anywhere in the Commonwealth is highly counter-productive. Control Massport's expansion plans.
