In this time of Climate Emergency, when we have laws on the books that require an 85% reduction in GHG emissions, it is unconscionable to have Massport proposing to triple the GHG emissions from this facility without proposing a commensurate 85% reduction in their carbon footprint. How many other Massport facilities will need to be shut down to balance out this carbon bomb? What is Massport's plan to mitigate this absurd proposal? Why does Massport get to disregard climate policy and who gave them a free pass? And why wouldn't every other sector of the economy get the same exemption? We are in a climate crisis. Massport needs to start acting like it, and not only scrap this stupid plan, but also disclose how they will meet the GHG reductions mandated by law and reality.

This would represent backwards progress in our fight against the climate crisis. It is imperative to stop this project.

No expansion to accommodate private jets - they're harm air quality, increase greenhouse gas emissions and are the worst example of economic climate injustice.

Please note the recent study, reported I'n the NY Times yesterday, that shows the profound effects that NOISE has on humans, both physiological and mental. This project would create an unimaginable noise over a wide area of Massachusetts. The privilege of flying private jet planes in vast numbers, spreading pollution directly on the population and significantly harming health, should not be given to private citizens, no matter how wealthy they are.

I know, they're really rich, so we have to coddle them. But seriously, we have to get serious about destroying human civilization. (Even though that's the best thing for the general health of the ecosystem of the planet.)

I am appalled learning that Hanscom Field is planning to increase capacity for private jets. Wake up, there is a climate crisis and especially the wealthy, the largest consumers of fossil fuel should learn to conserve

Governor Maura! Please no private jet facility expansion at Hanscom. This is a big step in the wrong direction. It's hugely important that MA continue to be a leader in the effort to slow climate change. Please use your authority to put a stop to this plan. Thankyou for all you do.

Hi, I live in Lexington, and the noise from Hanscom already it quite enough.
The daily med flights are fine with me, the large private jets are too much. Also the climate impacts of more planes is terrible. Please do not allow Hanscom to enlarge.
Thank you, Leslie Goldstein

The infrastructure already exists for people to fly. There's no need for a special consideration for the uber rich. This is a ridiculous abuse of resources and does so much damage to the environment. Please take a stand on this issue

You have the power to embody climate goals. I look forward to your doing so and will keep you in my prayers.
