Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

Allowing this massive expansion for private jets at Hanscom Field is short-sighted and irresponsible. We should be doing everything possible in Massachusetts to cut greenhouse gas emissions, not to increase them.

Private jets the loudest engines, least efficient engines, huge externalities fousted on everyone else. I hate this idea. these aircraft never obey the 500 foot limit even in fact most all the traffic in and out of Hanscom Ignacio minimum flight altitude distraction so not only are they incredibly loud they ate illegally low, all the time. that illegality of altitude is prevalent throughout every airport in Massachusetts. And the FAA does nothing. This just feels like Massport selling out to the rich.

The people who are advocating this expansion and the people who fly these jets clearly think they are more important than everyone else and everything else. They are more important than their neighbors who moved to the suburbs to respect and live amidst nature, not to destroy it. They are more important than clean air, clean water, and and low sound environments. They are more important than nature itself. Any politician who thinks this expansion is in any way acceptable or OK should lose their seat, the sooner the better.

Wow, this is awful. I note that my former neighbor was an early investor in private jets at Hanscom. He moved away because the constant noise from the jets over our neighborhood got to be too much. Glad he made a lot of money and could run away from the problem he helped to create. And so it goes...

The proposed airfield development represents the height of greed, selfishness, and arrogance. Air pollution, noise pollution, horrendous environmental damage to be done on the way to achieving more air pollution and noise pollution than we already have from Hanscom Field. If the natural and historic places in Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Bedford, and surrounding towns are not worth preserving, than what is there in the USA that is worth preserving? Enough already. If nasty old rich men would stop taking private jets, the private jet industry would go away.

We do not need to have more private jets polluting are environment. As you know the climate crisis is on us and urgent action is needed. We shouldn't be making the situation worst.

If we don't start dealing with climate change NOW it will be too late!!

Not only does it add tons of wasteful and unnecessary emissions, but it adds to the noise pollution for our communities.

STOP SUPER-EMITTER PRIVATE JET EXPANSION AT HANSCOM -- OR ANY AIRPORT

Not only is it inappropriate to accommodate such a facility of this magnitude it is inappropriate location to site such a facility when there is clear and available capacity at the former Pease Air Base. The New England states need to work together and not try to outcompete each other when trying to fulfill regional needs.

This proposal clearly benefits the interests only of "the 1%" at the expense of the surrounding communities and, ultimately, the billions of people dependent on our current climate.

Please stop this unnecessary expansion and increase in use of fossil fuels for the benefits of the obscenely rich today.

single private luxury jet trips are an environmental disaster

This is terrible and should be stopped!

The absurdly wealthy used to own private rail cars instead of screeching around in little flying trash cans. Bring back the rail cars and I won't complain.

The last thing we need to be doing is promoting private jets, one of the most egregious symbols of climate injustice.
