Stop Private Jet Expansion at Hanscom or Anywhere

Enough with the noise and pollution of our residential neighborhoods.

In this day and age of climate change we really need more private planes emitting pollution on the residents and in the environment in general. This works be a disaster for the surrounding towns.

As a member of Mothers Out Front, I am very much against super-emitting private jets. Along with super yachts, they epitomize the extravagant indifference of a very few to the climate crisis that will mostly affect everyone else.

This project goes against the environmental goals set by the State while benefiting very few privileged individuals.

Increased private jet use with their huge carbon footprints will undo all the net zero by 2050 targets for our state! Please don't allow jet use expansion in MA anywhere, for the sake of all the children's future climate!

This type of project should not be constructed in any community. The environmental damage would be huge, all for the added convenience and privacy of private jet users.

The private airline sector represents the pinnacle of climate injustice and emissions inequality. In a world where we need to cut our emissions in half by 2030 and to almost zero by 2050 to keep the global temperature rise below 1.5°C, expanding the private aviation industry is a big step in the wrong direction. This expansion is incompatible with the stated climate goals of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and our nation and should not move forward.

STOP this unnecessary expansion. The environment is being ruined and jet travel is a climate destroyer.

Please stop this private jet expansion at Hanscom in our historic area. Kristina Joyce

This is an environmental outrage and should definitely be stopped!

The noise and pollution over private homes and Great Meadows National Park are constantly violated by jets coming in for a landing or taking off.

No more public spending on private aviation!

Protect the planet from the environmental degradation caused by private jets.

Enough! There’s no need for more!

Expansion of private jet use for the elite few goes against and cancels any gains made to reduce greenhouse gasses and creates more noise, light and air pollution for surrounding communities.

Expansion of private, luxury aircraft is unnecessary to our economic heath and certainly will exacerbate a climate change, creating a deleterious impact on economic and public health. This proposal, or any like it anywhere, should be stopped. Facilitating the use of a public asset for no real public purpose, one that will have such devastating impacts, is just wrong.

We have enough private jets flying over our homes. We do not want/need more of them
