Our City looks worse today than a few years ago with development after development popping up all over, causing additional congestion and blocking iconic views of what has made our City unique; Sign Hill, San Bruno Mountain, SF Bay.
The east side and downtown are changing daily with more construction starting on every street making it nearly impossible to navigate much less enjoy.
Leave the center of our City alone!
We are becoming homogenized, boring, over crowded and loosing our 'vibe' as those who created this City are being pushed out.
We need to assimilate all the new growth that has been pushed upon us before even thinking of tearing up the middle of our City, beyond the new Civic Center which is going to be a neighborhood challenge in and of itself.
Economists predict a downturn in 2019 as many well know, including City leaders, and we will be stuck with half done eye sores like we've endured with the Safeway center on Spruce.
Don't let opportunistic politicians use our City for their own gain, as a stepping stone in their career, building their high rises as their legacy.
This is our City, stand up and own it.

South City has become extremely crowded and populated. I am not entirely sure why there is a recent desire for congested housing units being built in the area other than for someones personal profit. I assume the city must be receiving some percentage but enough is enough. At this rate, south city will soon surpass daily city for being the highest population rate in the peninsula.

South San Francisco does not need to be over-populated & over-congested. Our roadways, schools, stores & public transportation can't handle it. And us long-term residents can barely afford to live there as is without driving property values any higher. As well as the city hiring non-union, non-locals as cheap labor to build it!!

The traffic is so bad already . I moved from sf to live in an area that is not congested and loud and now more traffic from the traffics I have to drive everyday to work to afford this area
