Keep the development on Mission Road three stories or less. Traffic in that area will become a nightmare!!

I strongly believe in higher density housing along transportation corridors. However, an 8 story structure on that site is totally out of step with the neighborhood. 3-5 stories seems right to me for the location. More importantly, the parking concerns are very real. If you only have one space per unit, you will have parking problems in the surrounding area. Use common sense. We do want traffic and infrastructure issues solved as we grow. That is Smart Growth.

It seems our elected City officials continue to ignore the wants of the neighborhood tax paying residents and focus more on how much $ they can bring in. They are turning our small-town City into an unpleasant metropolis. We’re forced to limit our activities due to overuse of resources, carbon footprints, etc, and yet they keep building San Francisco-like “projects” to cram more and more people into tight spaces and to use up more of those resources. It makes no sense. Will you also be increasing the size of the PD & FD? How will those increased numbers be paid for? Tax increases? We came trough for you and gave you the new Civic Center you sought and you should now heed our wishes. My advice to the council: Listen to your constituents and stick to what you told them and what they agreed to, or they will vote you out. Mr. Gupta can attest to that.

I strongly oppose massive development at El Camino/Chestnut.
700 to 847 units times how many people and vehicles per unit will only further congest this over-burdened area.

We do not need high rises in SSF. If I wanted to live in SF I would have moved there. Our traffic is bad enough now. We do not need more. Be smart about what you and approve and listen to the ones who already live in SSF.
