The intersection of Vallejo and Polk is already dangerous enough. We don't need to add Muni buses to that location.

Unneeded - ridiculous waste of money.

This reroute is a bad idea.

This route is not needed on Vallejo and will just add more traffic to our area. We have more than enough service.

What a waste of money - what will this bring other than more potential traffic accidents/hazards???

Our community was NOT notified of this proposal at any time. If not for rumor and word of mouth we would not have known of Munis plans. The community does not need nor want the proposed changes. The new route would have adverse impacts on pedestrian and child safety, air quality, traffic, and parking. The buses would also violate an existing restriction against large commercial busses and create noise impacts in a relatively calm residential area.

Drove current 27 route on Jackson and proposed Leavenworth Vallejo option and it is too disruptive for Leavenworth and very bad for residents on the Vallejo St.

Stop the #27 Muni Bus Re-route- There are more cost effective and safer alternatives than what is being planned.

This neighborhood is well served by MUNI. Please do not add more noise and pollution on Leavenworth. I've lived on Leavenworth all my life and we get enough noise from speeding drivers at Leavenworth and Broadway (2way stop).

Don't re-route the #27 bus! Please listen to the people who live in this neighborhood; there are plenty of buses & routes already in place that are working fine.

I moved back to Russian Hill a few years ago due to how quite it is compared to other sections of the city. I live on Leavenworth near Vallejo. Hear are a number of reasons I do not wish buses to come down these streets. 1. It is an unnecessary expansion, due to all the other buses (12, 27, 41, 45, 47, 49) available in the area. 2. Noise: Buses make significant noise. The buses will disrupt the neighborhood in many ways late into the night. Besides engine noise, the beeping buses make when stopping is very disruptive and the sound travels far. The hydraulics are also loud and are accompanied with the loud beeping. The neighborhood is currently very peaceful and it would be great to keep it that way. 3. Parking. At some point adding buses may impact street parking spaces and Russian Hill does not have spaces to spare. It is already very difficult to park on Russian Hill and DPT and Muni often over look this fact and simply take space for their needs ignoring the voters needs. 4. Intersections: A) Liability: The intersection at Vallejo and Hyde is a blind from both directions. Before a light was added there was accidents every ten days at that intersection, some very serious. Even with the light having cars come up or down over the blind intersection and encountering a bus may create a situation for serious accidents in the future. B) The turn at Leavenworth and Vallejo is rather tight and if two buses meet at the same time it would be very tight. If the parking was disrupted at some point to correct this the voters in the area would be very upset. Parking as you know is very limited. C) The intersection at Vallejo and Polk is very busy and already congested with cars and pedestrians. Adding buses to this street will make it more congested and unpleasant. I really hope the city does not expand the 27 and keeps Russian Hill a quite environment. Thank you, Sincerely, Nicholas Pappas

The current route to Jackson St. makes more sense and better serves the community.

Stop the reroute of the 27 Bryant all it will do is add more confusion and unnecessary traffic to the area. There are already a number of existing bus lines that could be used instead of creating new bus lines where parking is limited

Not broken - please don't fix! Muni is a wonderful service - but redundance sometimes compromises it.

Please don't bring another bus into our neighborhood again!

why create new stops, we need to reuse existing stops where the infrastructure is already in place!!
