Stop the Potential spreading of the Novel coronavirus in schools of York Region, Ontario

Recently, the new coronavirus began to appear in Canada, please bureau of education and all schools to do a good job of sanitation and disinfection, survey the parents and children back in China, please inform the first stop school, automatic isolation, all for the sake of everyone's health, thank you

I agree. Schools to monitor very closely with kids who are sick. School to provide hand sanitizers to kids and help them use in regular intervals.

We want to urge the following: 1. We strongly need the School board ask students and their families who travelled back from China to report to school and classroom teacher. The school should keep tracking status of the students who recently travelled to China (not just Wuhan, any city of China). Other parents of the class should have the right to know whether there are students in the class came back from China recently, and have the right to decide whether to keep their kids at home.

I agree to take further actions to protect our kits during the coronavirus outbreak.

With this being regular Cold & Flu season we MUST make every effort to rule out those people coming from China so that there will not be major panic over every runny nose. AT the very least lets deal with KNOWN factors. We need to protect our children and ourselves.! STOP it at the airports!!

Everyone should take the responsibility to prevent the further spread-out of the virus and agree that children and adults returning from China should stay home for an incubation period!

We, the parents are very concerned because the Board is not taking 'aggressive measures' to handle, and be one a step ahead to contain this virus. Sending generic emails to parents will not ease our stress. Families that have traveled to that region or have families visiting should be asked to bring a letter from the hospital stating they are in the clear, sending children to school after a vacation to that region is unfair to others. This will become huge very quickly and the Board needs to realize today there are two patients, tomorrow there will be 20.

I have 2 little school children and one at home under 1 and they are my life! I am beyond conserned and agree with all of the above and believe that York Region Health should be on top of this before it becomes an epidemic worse than S.A.R.S.

Please keep those students staying at home for 2-3 weeks, who are back from back China or whose family members are back from China. Let's start to use Google meeting or Webex at home, every students can continue the education plan from their teachers. That makes sure everyone safe.

Please keep children returning from China at home for an incubation period.

Do not send chines who just came from chain to school, watching them for a-few days thanks

Our kids should not have to be affected by this illness it’s unfair to them. Sick kids should stay at home. Parents should be more considerate of others
