I am signing this petition because I am concerned about the lack of parking for this dense development.

We want to be heard as a community that this Drake development plan is not right for downtown Glenview in its current state and needs more thought. A comprehensive plan needs to be created and approved with community support, Parking, traffic, safety, density & retail need to all be in balance. STOP THIS PROJECT and listen to Glenview residents!

The village should not advance thhis type of development during this period of restricted access to hearing and meeting on a project of this scope. The village is supposed to act on behalf of the residents interest and benefit. How can they do that without proper meetings and input?

This project is opposed by many residents! The Village Board does not accurately represent the voice of residents.

How is this monstrosity benefiting anyone but greedy developers. Why not make room for small retail businesses that would benefit the community, and enhance the character of Glenview, instead of creating an ugly blight on this town? This will become an "urban nightmare". No one wants this for our town.

There needs to be more retail space offered.

The Village Board miscalculated the intensity of opposition to the current Drake development plan for the 1850 Glenview Rd - Bess Hardware site. This project (in its current form with Drake) needs to be cancelled. The 1850 Glenview Road property needs to be added to the moratorium on downtown Glenview development until a comprehensive plan is created and approved, with broad community support.

Why does Glenview need more empty, ugly over priced apartments? This building does not say “Home”, it looks like a prison. Thank you for fighting this battle.

Downtown Glenview is already getting congested near Lehigh especially when school lets out in rush-hour. Adding a big building there on the corner would truly be a huge mistake for everyone involved. Traffic is already her Horrendous.

I grew up in Chicago and left the high density city behind to move to Glenview. I don't want or need that down the street from me. If some people really want to live that way, just move to the city - the high density nowhere to park neighborhoods are already there with no waiting.

1. The Village is allowing an exorbitant number of concessions to push this thing through. With some sensible tweaking this could be done. 2. The viability of the developer has to be brought into question knowing that his other "high profile" development on Waukegan Road is stalled with no completion in site.

I have lived on Pine Street 34 years and don't find this architectural suitable for the neighborhood and will cause traffic jam and inconvenience.

After the debacle that is Park Place, unfinished and ridiculous, how can the Board approve Drake for another project? Not only is the project way too big for the area, it too will fail like Park Place and be a blight on the Village!

I am very apposed to the huge building project in downtown Glenview .... this will be a huge traffic hassle ... especially when trains come thru.... WHAT ARE YOU THINKING.... $$$$

I am a commuter and pay an annual fee to park in the commuter lots. This development will take away much needed spaces in the commuter lot. Also, safety and, traffic congestion are major concerns.

Why can't this be more reasonably sized? Also, how can we justify this waste of village monies.

Rising crime in the neighborhood needs to be addressed before increasing the density.

This is not good for the residents of Glenview.
