To: City of Franklin

We, the undersigned residents of Westhaven, in agreement with the Residents Advisory Committee (RAC), petition the City of Franklin to install a stop sign at the intersection of Stonewater Boulevard and Addison Avenue within this subdivision.

There is a stop sign in existence on the opposite side of the road at this same intersection. Stonewater Boulevard is accessed from Highway 96 and has proven to be a main “cut through street” for the southwest side of the neighborhood. Vehicles are constantly speeding unabated up this street creating an unsafe environment for pedestrians, pets and other drivers turning onto this road. The residents of Westhaven agree there is an urgent need to increase the security and safety at this location by way of a stop sign. Our intention is to prevent any accidents or fatalities from occurring.
