I've lost count of the number of times I've helped people with pushchairs and suitcases when using the stairs. Additionally, lift access will provide better connection between both sides of the railway for those who have difficulty walking and using stairs.

Having steps at the station will not only make it more accessible for people to get to the local shops, but also to the Children's centre which family's struggle to visit because of the station

I see so many disabled and parents with buggies people struggling to get up and down these steps, in this day and age and the amount of money charged to travel on the trains its about time we received some investment back into the station. A step free access is an essential addition to this station.

As a working mum of two small girls Iv never been able to take them to visit london as can never guarantee anyone will help with the buggy/holding the hand of my older daughter. This would have such a profound impact on us and generations to come
