The 2011 edition of the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team has been told they will not have a season, due to the fact there will be both grade 9 & 10 students on the team. We the following do not feel that is right! The following St. Mary teams are also Varsity and they have not had their seasons cancelled. Boys Baseball, Girls Rugby, Girls Hockey, Girls Softball, Girls Lacrosse and The Boys Senior Hockey team (which has 10 players in either grade 9 or 10). This is an act of discrimination. Allow the boys to play lacrosse our national sport.
