I can not believe a human being could and would hand down a sentence as laughable as the one this man got. Are these people total idiots. Apparently the judge is!

Dogs are sentient beings capable of experiencing pain, love, loss and all other qualities we too often regard as being exclusively human. Had this been a homeless child Makhaphela had instructed to bury? Would the minor fine still apply? And for all humanitarians out there who don't believe in equal rights for domestic animals, please keep in mind that there is a scientific link between cruelty to animals and sadistic behaviour towards other human beings. Makhaphela is teaching children that violence is okay, so long as it is inflicted upon a weaker individual unable to fend for themselves. One would think with the issue of violence against women and children in this country we would be teaching compassion and kindness.

Lets flood the schools emails demanding immediate action and bring the so called educator Manono to justice. An absolute disgrace to the education and a shame to society.

I agree with Michelle Loubser, a fine means nothing - he should be made to work at an SPCA every weekend for 5 years!!!!

As an educator it is his duty to lead by example. What if he buried a child alive because it wasn't behaving?

Make an example of this educator. How are we supposed to educate the youth when the head of the school is guilty of such an in humane act. Throw his ass in jail, oh and please don't give him full pay while he serves time.
