This is appalling. Once again the justice system has failed us. He must pay the price for not complying with the conditiond of his sentence. Make him pay the full R6000 now and clean kenels for 5 years.

Animal rights is largely overlooked and disregarded in the South African legal framework. We need stricter legislation to ensure that individuals who act with such disgust and inhumanity are taught the necessary respect for life of animals and human beings alike. The Courts should not er in making an example out of the Principaln Inthe USA people get jail time for committing offences of animal cruelty, SA should implement the same sanctions.
