An unfortunate fate my nephews life fell upon, but with a dark moment I hope can bring an abundance of light to anyone in the future who happens to be in or around a situation that Steve was in so they can have the chance to get to go home to their families and be able to further themselves for the better for years to come. A human life shouldn’t ever be something that anyone needs to have to make a decision over on what to do.. this will be a step in the right direction to where any person doesn’t coward themselves into watching someone pass before them. This is a courage builder for those who need it and a foundation to the start of the process of awareness for everyone, As being aware is all it really takes to save a life.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Look into the good samaritan law in NC in reference to drug users not being charged if they call for help.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sober 26 years and I’ve seen what drugs and accidental overdoses can do to families. Unfortunately, am the mother of an addict. I fully support your cause.. there should be no fear in saving a life.
