America should be appalled and ashamed at such an obvious framing and stitch up. The FBI need to investigate all communications between the police officers involved and then prosecute. US people you should be ashamed

These two men are innocent.

Free Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey! They are INNOCENT.

State attorney accused of sexual assault would need a fall guy for a meeting gone wrong.

Justice should protect a citizen from being sentenced just because he is not liked by the sherif's wife. I don't understand how the jury that convicted him cannot understand that they and their children will be next.

the manitowoc sherif department is an embarrassment to law enforcement and is a quintessential example of the corruption and bias existing within the criminal justice system today.

Free them aa they ARE innocent.

There are so many evidence that are making the conviction for both Steven and Brendan, questionable. It is mind boggling that the state is adamant and working so hard to keeping these two possible innocent men, rather than using those efforts to actually trying solving the case and finding the real killer. If the state really cared about the public’s safety, they should be willing to hear why these evidence show Steven and Brendan are innocent and restart the investigation to find the murder. Instead of saying they want justice for Teresa Halboch, they should’ve showed that by fully investigating on the case to find out what happened to that poor victim.

Worst case I've ever seen. Railroaded by kratz no physical evidence and nothing NOTHING that puts poor Theresa at the Avery's. I'd look at Stevens neighbor at the quarry.. Oh wait.. Police, D.A., even judges would have to admit they were wrong! That doesn't happen.

I am deeply disturbed about the deliberate destruction of the lives of these men and am so very thankful that I am not American!

I feel they are both innocent

It leaves one to believe our judicial system has failed this man not once but many times over. With a small town mentality of officials that have clearly worked the system in their favor and ruined this man and his nephews lives. Sad and scary at the same time. Where is the justice when it is clear while looking at the evidence that is presented that this man was rail road from day one time and time again. As a Christian we are taught to turn the other cheek.... I don’t think I am that good of a Christian to ever forgive such a deliberate offence. I thought we did not take kindly to vigilantism even if it is from high ranking citizens such as the law enforcement. What is going on in our country these days.

Shame on you, Wisconsin Supreme Court; you are the criminals!

I am deeply concerned about the justice system in our country. It has clearly failed Steven and Brendan in their cases. Let the new evidence and testimonies speak for themselves. The deserve a fair and honest trial. May justice finally be adjudicated.

this man deserves a fair trial. he was in the middle of a lawsuit for millions for wrongful conviction in a previous case where he served 18 yrs, when this happened.... fishy... would the county officials have set him up to avoid paying? because he likely would have won something, even if not the millions he sued for. smells like corruption
