The bully-mafia-sherif department in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is guilty of targeting weak, poor, and mentally challenged people in a way that the KluKluxKlan would railroad African Americans in the Deep South. They are not above the law and need to be investigated and held accountable with life sentences in federal penitentiaries. Steven Avery needs to be freed, exonerated, and compensated for the egregious violations of his civil rights.

I'm from Norway and I have just seen Netlix documentary about this case. Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey must be set free! NOW!!!!! Is really this "the land of the free"? I will NEVER set my foot in this corrupt country

The abuse of power in this case is sickening. It was depressing enough seeing what police and officials did to Mr. Avery. It's even worse that they stole the life Brendan, a mentally disabled boy, for their own selfish purposes. This happens too often in this country and the corruption needs to stop now. I encourage everyone to fight for these two people because next time, it could happen to you or someone you love.

I just watched this whole story on Netflix. I couldn't believe these two were convicted. If I was a juror, I would have never said guilty. Someone needs to look into the book "Kissed Me" that the kids said he read, that he got his story from. If its a low level read and if there are similarities with his story and that book. So they are lower educated and different....WHO CARES! Wisconsin should be ashamed. Go find the person did it and set them free!

Following watching Making a Murderer, I cannot begin to understand why Steven is still in Jail. I strongly hope that the world wakes up and recognizes the corruption that has falsely imprisoned innocent people and that the world speaks out in support of Steven Avery. This needs to be brought to the attention of higher powers. I feel for Teresa's family, I truely do. I am also fearful for the community of Wisconsin, living in an area where there is still possibly a killer walking freely amongst them, and many people protecting said person ... thereby becoming an accomplice, who all wear a uniform of trust.

A total travesty of justice that has had a profound affect on me, the sheer scale of the wrongdoings towards these two men make me shudder with horror, i hope justice one day see an end to their plight

It hurts my heart that these two are being treated this way in America! Our justice system is seriously flawed, that judge should ashamed of himself along with all the police and investigators involved in theses cases. I hope, Steven and Brendon will some day soon taste freedom. My concern is that the true killer is still out there, probably in a police uniform.

I´m a police officer from Sweden, and I must say that this documentary made me realize that I never, under any circumstances want to visit Wisconsin in my life. Both these trials were parodies. The verdict for Avery was based on the lies that Brendan was forced to give under illegitimate questionings. And what horrifies me the most is that, how is it possible that the same judge that wrongfully convicted Avery, can make decisions in his appeal? Is there really no higher level of justice in USA?
