He was convicted because of the money, and reputations, wasn't he?

Manitowoc county has displayed a disgusting act of treason and lack of regard for ethics in this case. Evidence was fabricated and I do not say this lightly. It is horrible that this man was convicted and even worse they involved a young boy with limited cognitive functions in the case by using suggestive techniques and coercion.

He deserves a fair trial. He has yet to receive that.

I believe reasonable doubt for a guilt verdict was proven in Steven Avery's murder trial.

He is innocent!

Case needs to be looked at again!

An incredible wrong that needs to be righted. This deserves a second look in the least.

Justice needs to be served. Brendan and Steven are innocent. The justice system has failed them.

If you don't allow a re-trial of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey's it will be obvious to all American Citizens that our Justice System does not care our the American People.

A great injustice has occurred and I'm deathly afraid of bringing children into a world such as this. He should get a fair trail, outside of the community and with judge with no bias whatsoever.

I hope all of those involved in this miscarriage of justice are awake right now realizing how royally screwed they are. I am sure they never thought this documentary would cause such an outrage - globally! I also, hope that both Steven and Brendan have a spark of hope after the release of this documentary.

Manitowoc County should've never set foot on the Avery property in the investigation. Then we'd have the real killer in jail.

Why could no one see that these people were corrupt. So sad your government let a innocent man Roy in jail again for a crime he did not do. Some police are bad and will do anything to save face. Retrial should happen for sure. In a different state.

Watched the whole documentary. Could not believe this jury found him guilty! The defense attorneys raised SO MANY ISSUES to create reasonable doubt, I was blown away by the verdict. What a sham of a trial. So this is justice? Wow!

They are both innocent and need to be released.

I think that this seemingly gross injustice of the court system needs to be investigated and resolved.

After watching the documentary I was sickened by the injustice that was displayed by the legal system in both of the trials. How do you have a brutal murder with no victims blood splatter anywhere. A keychain that belonged to the victimwith no DNA from anyone but Avery. Moreso, how in the legal system is a 17 year charged and convicted of crimes that he clearly was coerced into giving. I understand that they ran with what he said, however, how do you convict of rape and dismembering a body...when one, the said mattress where this occurred was never entered as evidence and tested for body fluids to prove that Theresa was physically there, along with the Steven and Brendan. The last time a checked only an idiot police department and District Attorney would take a 17 year old with clear disabilities, confession that was coerced by police....and not make certain that the evidence matched the story. The tampered vial of blood....simple enough...test the amount of blood volume in the tube against the manufacturers vacuum in the tubes. When blood is drawn for a specimen, it doesn't just magically enter through the needle into the tube. The tubes a vacuum sealed. The alloted vacuum in the tube is broke when the needle enters it, (the needle is dual sided, one for vein, one for tube) the alloted vacuum in the tube will draw that much into the tube. Verify the amount that is in the current tube, verses the manufacturers vacuum pressure...that right there should clearly tell you if blood was removed from that vial.
