I am so happy to see your comment! Thank you for y'alls service, and we completely agree!!! My husband spent 11 years collectively in the military, 2 in the Marines, and 9 in the Army. Hardship tour to Korea and 2 deployments for this kind of injustice?! We are absolutely appalled and disgusted by the way this was and continues to be handled! May the Lord have more mercy on these sorry excuses for human beings because they don't deserve it after what they've done to these 2 and their family!!!

This man is innocent and the system of justice has failed big time. Corrupt police officers, blind judges and that attorney that wanted him to say that he was guilty,,, what a mistake. What a puppet theatre... I feel sorry for Avery

I am not trying to be insensitive but I am honestly signing this petition for Brendan Dassey. This boy needs and deserves to be seen and heard away from his uncle because honestly I think it was the ignorant bias against his uncle that caused his conviction in the first place because I would hate to believe that everyone around that area in Wisconsin is just really that ignorant. It takes a small slice of common sense to recognize leading and coercion coupled with how those despicable men railroaded and took advantage of his disabilities! I am completely sickened and appalled at what has been allowed to transpire against this young man and may they never know mercy on this earth and have to beg for it from the Lord in their next lives because even the deepest pits of hell is too good for those disgusting excuse for human beings!

It appears American legal system is based on guilty until proven innocent. The Netflix documentary highlights no sane jurist should have ever said he is guilty. What a joke. Juries shouldn't exist but then are the judges any better if there is an obvious corrupt police force. FREE AVERY this is sickening.

Please right this wrong. Don't make an innocent man serve a life sentence for something he didn't do. Instead, make the Manitowoc officials pay for the corruption, collusion, coercion that railroaded this man and his nephew!

After watching this documentary I couldn't believe the jury deciding to convict Steven Avery. There was so much evidence showing unprofessional behavior from several levels of law enforcement and showing how evidence had been altered and/or planted. I couldn't see how he was guilty. For example officer Calhoun or however it's spelled was recorded with Teresa's license plate number two days before her car was ever reported found and before any arrest or anything was made officers asked if Steven was arrested yet because they simply didn't like him and wanted him gone. Not to mention the fact that that county was not to be involved in the case because of the prior conflict of interest with him being falsely imprisoned for 18 years 6 months, but they were completely involved anyway. They searched his home many times, never aloud back. The investigator from Illinois even stated how a property is usually only searched once, twice at most and then residents aloud back on the property, so this whole investigation was done wrong and was in huge violations. They also were not watched as they should have been which was stated. They was plenty of evidence showing how items could be planted like the key. The key had no dna except for Steven's. How could that be if it was Teresa's key? There would have to be more dna. Also the car was found at the salvage yard poorly covered; why would it not be crushed and disposed of. Steven had just gotten out of jail and people were aloud on the property to search they had nothing to hide they knew they were under the spotlight they wouldn't be that stupid. They found the test tube of Stevens blood from the previous case. It has been opened and had a hole in the top, showing it was tampered with. The fbi test that was done was sped up abnormally and also an out of date test not used in ten years. There was even talk of how that test could possibly not be conclusive just from inaccuracies. They also only tested some not all

How about we find out what really happened. The documentary really exposes the injustice of the supposed justice system.

After watching the Netflix series I believe Brandon was forced to convict his uncle and Steven was framed .

I believe Steven Avert is innocent.

New trial is deserved here due to the misconduct by prosecutors, sheriffs departments and public defenders handling the case. At the very least these goverment agencies need to be reprimanded or punished. If this gross misconduct continues to be ignored it will seriously taint the public's view on the state of Wisconsin justice system.

This is the most ridiculous trial of police corruption I've ever heard of. None of the prosecutions evidence checked out and the defense, in my opinion, completely exposed the prosecutions short-comings. The people involved, I don't know how they can live with themselves. They completely ruined this man's life and his family.

This story has blown up here in Ireland. It's all over the radio and social media. He needs to be freed
