What happened to both of these men is so wrong. Especially Brendan Dassey who was tricked and manipulated into providing a false confession. My heart goes out to Brendan Dassey.

There was so much discrepancy involved that it's impossible to say that they were guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It's unreasonable, and a retrial is a must!

I believed Steven Avery to be guilty when first hearing the story upon watching the series on Netflix and doing some research I am completely outraged at these arrogant, self protecting "at any cost", unlawful persons of "JUSTICE" these persons in manitiwoc county must think that the entire country has the same IQ level as Brendan Dassy, I truly hope the American government steps in and singles out these persons in manitiwoc county and sets an example that these types of incidents will not be tolerated, from the judge to the beat cop involved with the malicious set up of an under educated individual to preserve their own reputations. I hope real justice prevails in America and all involved in the set up and destruction of the Avery family see their day in court as the "DEFENSE" and serve actual time for the crimes they have commited!!!! 18 years sounds about right to me

There are so many questions within the Avery case that the trust of the American people already shaken by several unjustified police shootings in the past year is further damaged by the impressions that our judicial system does not give us our constitutional rights but simply upholds the actions of the the police and local courts no matter what. Looking good is seemingly more important than justice. I do not know if Steven Avery is guilty or not, but the seemingly endless number of questions about the lack of a right to both the presumption of innocence and right to a fair trial, would speak strongly that a new trial in another city, perhaps Madison is in order. A new rial rather than a pardon gives both sides a chance to present their information in an open and transparent way and so restore the people's confidence in the law.

After watching this case on TV with my family for 10 hours I was very sadden by the out come. I strongly recommend a retrial out of the state for Steven Avery. I know now I will never visit Wisconsin in fear of the risk of their law enforcement department. Who is to say this is not the 1 & 2nd case that had the incorrect outcome. No one should be above the law including the law enforcement department or judge in this case.
