This is probably not a "stray incident in a remote village" that "we all" can "let it take its own couse".This revealss the kind of horror that the state offers in the name of "services". This incident probably only brought to light a reality that is not so uncommon in our nation. Its extremely necesary that this be not shoved quietly under rthe carpet and made an example so that similar stories do not happen again. Let us wake up from the complaisance of "it doesn't affect us, we are immune"

Nobody should lose their lives due to negligence. The deaths of these young women were entirely avoidable.

According to Standard Operating Protocols for sterilisation camps,a single surgeon is not allowed to perform more than 30, at most 50 procedures per day. Around 80 were performed here, and probably the same surgeon went to other camps also on the same day.(there are guidelines re pre and post operative checkups and care, conditions of OT etc which are routinely violated everywhere). DOCTORS NEED TO ARRESTED NOW
