This should Never ever get planning. The lobster hatchery in town is viable, accessible, workable, and is efficient in what it was intended for. Why decimate the most beautiful landscape of Stepper? I strongly oppose any development here, and always will!

How much more of Padstow's History does the Hatchery want. First the Kipper House, and now the Jewel in the Crown "Stepper Point." It is totally the wrong place, best left for people to admire the peace & tranquillity, bringing in £200 million pounds each year, the main contributor to the Cornish economy, visitors walking the South West Coastal path.

If the reason for setting up there is better water quality then improve quality in the river. Provision of access road and subsequent developments sets a dangerous precedent.

This location should be protected from development being SSSI and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with important geological significance. Please protect our beautiful Cornish landscape.

As a resident of New Polzeath, I value hugely the unspoilt beauty of Stepper Point across the bay from my home. This proposed development would destroy this area of outstanding natural beauty.

There was a time when SSSIs and AONB status had weight enough to prevent development in the remaining special areas of Cornwall. It seems that in this less principled age corporates can ride "rough-shod" over this. Shame on the people that have applied for this intrusion.

Stepper Point’s iconic headland with a massive amount of history has more letters after its name than an Marine Biologist AONB, HC, MCZ, SSSI So leave our Heritage alone. It is not a brown field site, nature has reverted it back to a natural haven.
It’s phenomenal, these nationally rare flora & fauna having clung to life on Stepper, taking wind, weather, and storms, and survived. The approval of planning permission could wipe them out in one bucket scoop forever, just like the Rape of the Amazon Forests.
With worsening weather patterns due to global warming, the storms we experienced in 2014 are presumed a regular occurrence, how will sponsors feel dishing out millions each year to repair or replace.
