Steve was such an amazing spirit and he is dearly missed. He was taken too soon and more could have been done by his care team to alert his loved ones to prevent his passing.

This is so important. Please pass this. My nephew didnt have have a chance because noone contacted his family. A simple call all it takes. No family should have to go through this.

Stephen was is my brother and very best friend. Our entire family was actively involved in Stephen's treatment attending counseling sessions, offering support, and love. One phone call to my mom or Save the Michaels could have certainly changed the outcome of his life. We were never given the chance to save him. Had this law been in place, he may still be with us today. He fought a courageous battle, had the best heart and deserved a second chance.

I personally had the chance to work with this amazing woman and I believe that her son would have been alive today if something like this was in place. I myself am a recovering addict and wish someone knew the signs before I relapsed. I'm proud to say I now have two years clean. Please pass this bill our friends and families are dying.
