Compared to many I barely knew Stefan, but the little time I got to spend with him was a delight. He helped me learn how to be a sabruer when he didnt have to and was a royal laugh on nights out. I will miss him.

Come on. Do the right thing and honour this amazing young mans life. Give back to him and his family the recognition and respect that is truly deserved. And by doing this make future students have faith in yourselves by knowing it's not just academics but there is a heart shown.

I don't know this lad, but if his friends believe he deserves credit I'm inclined to believe them. We went through much the same with our dear friend Steve Critcher 43 years ago:maybe not quite the same, but it helped us all that Steve was posthumously awarded his degree.

Degrees have been awarded or upgraded for far less effort than that made by Stefan and his contribution to university life and effort should be rewarded.

Getting his degree is the least he deserves, he put everything he could into his time at university
