If someone can help set up a clean up, and a maintenance program, I'm sure the BLM would have no problem keeping the area open to shooters.

I have been attending this ranger for over 10 years, and it would be a great determant for my livelyhood if this location is shut down

I don't know how they can close it when there are community trash pickup days. It is taken care of by the few. Sometimes i go out there and it looks decently clean sometimes a mess. I do my part and tale harmful objects that are not mine back with me to dispose of. Please get this place back open. Hell have a ranger stop by more often to check on the idiots out there make me feel safer. They can always fine those that leave trash via picture evidence. That can be their way to keep it open because government departments revolve around money...

It's a shame Steele Peak has closed down. The erosion of our 2a rights is troubling and to see especially here in California. I have been coming to Steele Peak since I was a child and have made everlasting memories here.

Let's organize through our local representantion like California Rifle and Pistol Association as well as as holding accountable our elected officials. Also, if it reopens let's hold ourselves accountable to picking up after ourselves so that these agencies don't feel the need to take away the exercising of our freedom

Gov Brown has dementia and is unfit for office . Leland Yee a sitting senator who tried taking the guns away from Californians took bribes and tried smuggling shoulder fired rockets and machine guns into the U.S for the Chinese mafia . WTF ??? Where is the outrage ?
