Shame to close this land for the reason given. This is a convenient place to enjoy target shooting without being hassled by indoor ranges. This should be open for the public to enjoy. Im tired of this state taking away access to places where people can enjoy outdoor activities in a natural setting.

It’s really come down to the lazy people who can’t clean up after themselves and don’t know how to show some respect. I’m not in it to blow up the world.

I support the reopening of Steele Peak. Let's get this area reopened! Can we get the NRA involved?

I went here for my first time shooting with a firearms instructor. We always cleaned up after ourselves. It's a shame the site was closed down as I had a great time each visit.

Be respectful and clean up after yourself...simple. This is a great place to shoot!

Promote more open areas to exercise the 2nd Amendment. Some of us take trash out, and dont liter, punishing everyone for the actions of some is immature.

I live in Good Hope which is in the other side of Steel Peak. We love the area and the noise from the shooting does not bother us. We enjoy going out there with our family.

Let’s all clean up our trash after shooting so we won't have any trash problems at the site.

Availability of legal outdoor shooting areas on BLM (Public-owned) lands must be maintained. Citizens that use the area should be safe, respectful and clean up their mess. Clean up efforts could be organized without too much difficulty during the "no shooting / high fire danger months".

Keep this place open let's set up a community clean up I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers including my self and buddy's there's no reason this place should be closed with all the history this place has.
