This is absolutely the worst idea to ever come of steam. While many people do get hacked because the persons lack of using the steam mobile guard is high, users of steam should not be forced into using the mobile app for authentication. While we live in a world where smart phones are everywhere, not everyone in the world may own one. While trading itself has no age limit some parents dont allow their children to own smart phones. Many people would be effected by this and only a small percentage of people would be effected in a good way. Adding this guard would essentially destroy many websites, traders, and bettors. Many people will either have to take the cooldown from not using it or get the mobile app which is not always an option for everyone. Forcing people to use the mobile app is stupid, however I think the use of mobile steam guard is a great addition and everyone SHOULD be using it, I don't think its right to force people to use it even if it helps cut back on people getting hacked.
