This is ridiculous, they already have decent anti-scam measures in place, such as email verification, this should only be optional. If valve really do implement this, I am going to lose faith in them entirely

Escrow is not needed. Limiting the community to exclusively use the marketplace is a shady idea, sure you make more money. But the entire csgo trading community will fall apart. Worth it? i highly doubt it. The email confirmation updates have already caused a lot of havoc, this is just ridiculous.
