This is honestly one of the stupidest things valve could have done. What about users who don't have smartphones? I don't think that CS or Dota 2 players are going to buy phones just for trading. And what about people with Windows phones? THERE'S NOT EVEN A STEAM APP FOR THEM.

The iBP scandal was a huge catastrophe match fixing and throwing, however I think that inncedent has killed match fixing. Since joining the betting scene and groups, there's been nothing but support. Sure every now and then we get trolls and angry betters, but that isn't exclusive to betting, those kinds of people are everywhere on the Internet. Eliminating betting is feels like a slap in the face for the community.

Seriously this will ruin trading and opskins and all the other useful sites. Not just the gambling ones... You can't force or punish people for not using the dumb mobile authenticator.
