I honestly not surprised Valve would do this? I understand they're trying to crack down on scammers & people being scammed but some people will always be idiots & Valve seriously believe that they can stop it altogether. Granted this has more to do with account hi-jacking but it still is flawed! Say for instance that your Steam account was hijacked because you were silly enough to download a virus from the hijacker & they try to make a trade, they still would need access to the e-mail that's linked with Steam. Now if you were silly enough to give that e-mail address the same password as your Steam account, they're just going to hijack that e-mail while replacing all of it's recover info. Now the thing is, Steam Support is BALLS slow, they take forever to response & even if they do, it's usually the most uninformed or didn't even read your original support ticket automatic message.. By then, the hijacker will be LONG GONE after before anyone at Steam cancels the trade. All this really does is make people that do PayPal trading MORE EASIER to SCAM. ...Just my 2 cent because honestly, who the F thought this was a good idea, aw hell, who thought that this was an "acceptable idea"
