This will have an substantial effect on a very artificial market. People will be more reluctant to pay thousands of dollars, because sites like opskins will not exist and it will therefor much harder to cash out dropping skin value significantly and running an already shaky market.

This will ruin steam trading. Valve will lose money off people simply not trading anymore/buying crates.

While I like that steam is trying to prevent unauthorized trades not everyone that has a good computer and csgo has a smartphone. Though I feel like you've got to be a dumbass if you dont have a smartphone but have a nice computer.

Email authentication is fine. Forcing mobile authentication is not. Smartphones aren't cheap, nor are the plans that provide them. Valve will never fully eliminate scammers, at this point they are just making things harder for normal users.
