Horrible idea. This will destroy any e-conomys that exist in any of Valve's e-commerce games.

VALVe, please listen to your loyal customers. We really don't want this, we understand you're trying to make things better against scammers and such to keep peoples back packs safe. But this is certainly not the right way to do it. Trading could take days, rather than 30 seconds. The email trade verification is fine. I just check my phone whenever I get the email and accept it to complete a trade. I don't want to ask my trading partner everytime to check their phone now too. Or even ask if they have a phone! Please VALVe, do not add make the Escrow update happen. This is coming from a loyal supporter.

I am making sure to send this message around as much as possible. I have shared it with my friends, put this link on my steam page, and also told my friends to put it on their steam page. Good luck Valve! Try not to be COMPLETE idiots!

Between email notifications and one-week trade limits, Steam has already made trading annoying enough. All for the idiots who click obvious phishing links and trade away their valuable items for promises of Steam codes. Please, Valve, stop making trading more annoying.

Trading will continue to be normal if this petition gets up to Valve and they approve it. If they don't, the established game economies will crash to the ground because of this holding period, more trade trolls will be there to annoy the regular traders.

How was this even a good idea? You think someone would of said: "Hey, maybe putting a restriction on items being traded might be a bad idea.", but nope.

Everyone should stay at this emotionally salty level until valve decides to remove this.
