this is just another roadblock leading to less inefficient trading because valve doesn't want to have to deal with cleaning up the already screwy trade scene, gg valve.

This is easily the dumbest decision Valve have made in a long time. It could completely kill TF2 and CSGO, as these games really do thrive on the traders, betters, and rafflers, of whom the majority will just quit if this Escrow update comes through 100%. I really hope we can stop this.

As a TF2 player with over 2k hours put into the game, and a backpack worth well over $3,500, this implementation will absolutely RUIN trading in TF2. PLEASE reconsider this update Valve, for the sake of us all.

I've been trading for 2ish years and never had a hacking or scamming problem, I don't own a smartphone and therefore would be unable to trade because of this.
