This is literally going to destroy trading and is utterly pointless.

This system would be extremely exploitable, allowing for trolls to lock another person's items for three days. It would also be very inconvenient to have to grab your phone for a simple trade, people without phones are pretty much locked out of trading, and the trading community would likely be destroyed. The worst trade security idea I have seen in my life.

This would kill one of the biggest community driven aspects to a beloved community driven ip. Please Valve no. ;-;

Helping a few naïve scammed people is not worth restricting literally everyone else.

No, just no, this makes trading much harder. The only "use" of this is if you enable it MANUALLY from your phone because you were dumb enough to give your username, password AND email to some random person.

E mail confirmations and 1-week waiting time to get your purchased items are already annoying tricks, why does valve want to annoy us even more ? Scammed people are just dumb, and you can't prevent someone to be dumb, just chill out valve, please.

Even though I *pretty much* adbandoned trading from rags to riches months ago, I still need this important trade feature. What if I quit CSGO, TF2? I can pass my legacy to others by giving them those hats, especially my friends'. Valve, pls dun fix.
