really valve? sounds nice on paper, but i really hope that you stop and think of all the unintended consequences that this will have. also, you don't need to make trades more difficult. it won't solve stupid people being scammed.

If Escrow is implemented it will make my trading life that much more difficult. Trading is already a much more labyrinthine process than it needs to be and this needlessly adds to the complexity. Credit card users aren't forced to wait a week to use their purchase. Implementing this system simply treats vigilant Steam users like children and makes trading extremely inconvenient for them.

The trading system is already overly complicated and I do not want to have to wait to use the items a I trade for. This is a game, it is suppose to be fun, not a crap ton of waiting,

As a trader, this is incredibly nonsensical for the trading community, Valve has no reason to do this other than to make people stop trading as much and use the "market" to earn real money off of items. This being said, a lot of items AREN'T marketable.
