Trading definitely isn't 100% secure/safe, but Escrow is the wrong way to go about it.

I think it's ridiculous that Steam has to make it really hard to trade just to protect the select few who fall for scams. tl;dr Don't be an idiot.

At this point, if people are still falling for scams, the system is not the problem . The problem lies within the people who are getting scammed.

There does need to be something done about scamming, but this isn't the solution. It only hurts honest traders whiles scammers and hackers still can roam free.
