It's a nice idea at first, but many people don't have the luxury of owning a smartphone, which would be this update's largest flaw and would definitely decrease the amount of trades and activity on steam substantially.

I want to know who at the meeting (because they did have a meeting about this) said it would be a good idea for them to do this towards a huge community of traders and sites. While they are at it why not just remove trading altogether!?

Tf2 trading was my life I have over 2000 hours combined in 3 different steam accounts and in all 3 of them I have been trading as much as possible, I tried to stop trading and such but it is impossible it is so much fun. This whole problem with the trading coming is going to be very bad this is going to make a lot of people mad and possibly quit Tf2. I won't because there is still a game in this.

This is a clear indication of Valve not understanding the TF2 community, even if this feature is supposed to protect people. Many sites, both large (scrap.tf) and small (tradebots.cf) will suffer greatly from this.
