What an arbitrary and useless system to be added to Steam. This is going to be just as bad a decision as it was for paid mods. No way am I going to be using any sort of trade system for some time now, especially if a company wants a personal cellphone number that I don't even have.

Maybe if Valve would actively ban scammers and went out of their way to stop them, you wouldnt need such a draconian method. Shame on Vale for taking the cheap, easy way out. Also, nice ploy to get everyone to use the Steam Market so they can collect their 15%

This is disgusting. I'm sick and tired of sites trying to shoehorn in this mobile phone security confirmation swill. I do not own a mobile phone, nor will I ever, due to the malicious functionality of the software and hardware.
